Job Title: Aftermarket Technical Lead (Machinery)

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Salary: £50K - £60K + (Life and Health)

Company Description:

A growing manufacturer of bespoke machinery is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Lead for their Aftermarket division to support customers with technical expertise on queries they have.

Responsibilities as Aftermarket Technical Lead:

* Be the point of contact for customers regarding technical issues.

* Problem-solve issues with customers’ equipment after they have been installed.

* Support the spares/parts teams to maximize sales opportunities

* Attend project management meetings as the technical expert

* Provide technical input and knowledge to the Engineering team to improve existing product offerings and also New Product Development / R&D.

Skills & Experience required as Aftermarket Technical Lead:

* Experienced Technical Manager/Engineering Manager from a manufacturing background

* MUST HAVE Mechanical Engineering background

* Familiar liaising with customers regarding technical issues with products and problem-solving to provide a swift resolution.

* Experience with aftermarket (NOT ESSENTIAL)

* Able to produce technical reports to Senior Management

* Knowledge of ERP / CRM Systems
