Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Procurement Supervisor for a future upcoming project in our Atlanta, GA office area. This role executes procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects and/or purchasing opportunities to ensure optimal cost and sufficient continuity of supply and services. Reviews and thoroughly understands the contract terms and conditions and ensures compliance from relevant parties. Scrutinize/negotiate and process all change orders with vendors/GCs/AEs. As well as manage and provide QA support for the MEP/OFCI (Owner Furnish Contractor Installed) equipment delivered to site.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Identifies risks and roadblocks to contract execution/compliance and drives action internally and/or externally to resolve and/or escalate, as appropriate
Serve as first line of defense/communication with site EPC stakeholders on commercial matters
Execute project closeout requirements
Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, and partners cross-functionally to resolve/escalate accordingly
Attend weekly cost/change management meetings and report on open change orders
Help facilitate the MEP/OFCI equipment once delivered to site, including inspections and appropriate sign offs
Address quality-related issues as they arise and report to the quality team
Partner with Labor Planning team on Field Service Representative constraints during Cx
Monitor activity (via relevant software) by Vendors for timely Cx completion
Assume all post-award contract execution responsibilities with GC, OFCI vendors, AE, Cx, etc
Identify potential risks and issues related to the project/contract and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
Provide weekly status reports, issues, risks and mitigations to GC sponsor regularly
Prepare regular reports on contract performance, issues, and resolutions
Prepare contractual notices with sponsor oversight as per the contract
Working with the cost team, monitor and review payment requests from contractors and MEP/OFCI vendors
Address and resolve any payment disputes or discrepancies
Help facilitate and engage in negotiations with contractors and other parties to resolve disputes with regular updates to the client team
Ensure contractual compliance with regard to all EH&S including Safety Root Cause Analysis
