Job Description

Senior HR Generalist support for plants in Ottawa, IL, Manteno, IL, and Atlanta, GA.  This role will sit in Ottawa, IL and may require occasional travel to Atlanta, GA and Manteno, IL

Provides coaching and support to front line management in solving employee relations issues, such as policy violations, attendance concerns, and performance issues

Coach business leaders and their teams on development of others. Helps identify developmental opportunities for talent pipeline within the business unit and tracks progress on development action plans

Inputs and maintains employee data in the Workday HRIS system such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for reporting. 

Reviews existing human resources policies and procedures within the business units for which they are responsible, and initiates changes as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies, and business objectives

Conducts and analyzes wage survey data. Maintains position descriptions and market comparisons

Manages the division performance review and compensation processes for non-exempt employees

Coordinate wellness events and activities for the division

Disability Management process owner for the division, including running a highly effective return-to-work process

Supports HR with recruitment activities for the division

Lead or participate in HR projects

Other duties as assigned
