Shamrock Services, LLC, is currently hiring shop welders.
The successful candidate will have competent knowledge of mathematics to solve problems pertaining to welding functions.
The welder will recognize the setup and use of proper hand tools including tape measures, straight edges, combination squares, torpedo levels, calipers, depth gauges, grinders, and cutting tools.
The welder will need to be proficient with stainless steel MIG wire in the short circuit mode- “spray transfer” utilizing trimix gas.
This is a multi-tasked position that will include fit-up, weld-out, weld repair, and cleaning. The welder must be able to work as part of a team with other members.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
The welder will perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Pay for successful applicants is $20-$24 per hour. Most weeks include 10 hours of overtime.
