Compensation: $30 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in the areas of payroll, GAAP, and journal entries. Experience with QuickBooks Online is required, and knowledge of inventory management and sales tax filings is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain company financial records using QuickBooks Online.

Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Prepare and post journal entries accurately.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.

Inventory management and sales tax filings (preferred but not required).

Communicate with management regarding financials and any discrepancies.

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a full charge bookkeeping role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Strong knowledge of payroll processing and GAAP.

Experience in preparing and posting journal entries.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of inventory management and sales tax filings is a plus.
