We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Keyworker to join our team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. In this rewarding role, you'll provide essential care and support to children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As an integral part of our school community, you’ll work with each child's Individual Support Plan (ISP), aligned with their EHCP and Thrive progress targets, helping them make meaningful progress.

What You'll Do:

You will also collaborate with teachers, care staff, and external professionals to implement tailored programmes that promote each child’s social and emotional development. Your work will focus on:

Individual Support: Oversee each child’s ISP, ensuring all aspects of their social and emotional development are addressed, while aligning with their EHCP and Thrive progress targets.

Family Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for parents, addressing routine concerns and keeping them involved in their child’s progress. Your role will bridge the school and home environments.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside teaching and care staff, as well as external agencies, to create a supportive environment that encourages the child’s growth and eventual reintegration into society.

Holistic Approach: Support the whole child – socially, emotionally, and academically – by fostering a nurturing and structured environment in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

What You Bring:

A compassionate and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs.

Experience working with Individual Support Plans and an understanding of EHCP goals.

Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies.

The ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
