As a Senior System Administrator, you’ll be driving architecture and engineering initiatives for workplace productivity, messaging and identity environments
You’ll provide excellent service to our customers through the delivery and ownership of the administration, maintenance, maturing and support of our workplace technology environment
The pace of change and associated training and development opportunities will create an engaging and supportive environment for you and help develop a broad range of transferable skills
What you'll do
In this role, you’ll plan, develop and undertake technical support for relevant platforms, activities and processes, as well as identifying new and innovative ways to use existing tool sets to automate management, monitoring and related processes to increase efficiency.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
Administering, managing and maintaining the Google Workspace ecosystem and ensuring a high level of usability and security for all users.
Performing scripting, automation, administration and reporting tasks using Terraform or other orchestration technology
Apply new solutions through research and collaboration with the team and determine the course of action for new application initiatives
Supporting / mentoring the wider CTS team members in their career growth
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with a strong customer focus in their work, as well as a background in technical support. You’ll need senior-level administration and engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break / fix activity along with engineering and design. Knowledge of AWS Cloud would be a plus.
On top of this, you’ll bring:
Strong expertise in Google Workspace, email security, spam, phishing and virus protection
Exposure to Google Cloud, cloud solutions architecture, related technologies and their interdependencies
Strong scripting and automation skills
Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with various internal and external groups
