The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dundee area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Working 5 shifts out of 7 shifts across Monday to Sunday

Pay Rate: Days - £13.12 per hour PAYE / Nights - £14.43 per hour PAYE

Location: Dundee, DD2

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Conducting 1-3 runs on average per shift, majority of shifts are 8 hours on average but there are some routes which can be longer.

· Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and solus locations.

· Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.

· Handballing parcels into sheds and garages at solus locations.

· Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

· Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.

· Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.

· Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
