Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Financial Reporting and Controls Manager to work for an association in Oxford.

Role: Financial Reporting and Controls Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

Location: Oxford

Hours: Full Time - Including Evenings and Weekends

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting and Controls Manager:

Invoicing all our corporate clients are invoiced.
Maintaining the sales ledger ensuring all cash is collected promptly.
Invoicing for player loans and any transfer receipts due whilst maintaining a log of upcoming invoicing etc.
Ensuring all invoicing is input into our accounts system - currently Xero.
Collating expenses for the payroll
Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
VAT returns
Production, analysis, and presentation of monthly management report & account
Annual report and accounts
Ad hoc tasks as required.
Reporting financial and non-financial information to various stakeholders including the Senior Management Team
Maintaining and improving financial controls, enhancing system controls
Processing transactions across all aspects of the finances

About you:

Full working knowledge of MS Office programs with great excels skills.
Ability to use Sage or similar accounts package.
Able to work using own initiative.
Able to communicate with colleagues, corporate customers and suppliers.
The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
A polite and professional manner
Suitable accounting qualification desirable although QBE will be considered if a candidate has sufficient experience.
