IT Systems and Database Analyst
Location: Telford
Job Type: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days working from home)
Working Hours: 40 hours per weekAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Systems and Database Analyst to become the lead technical architect for all IT systems within a leading and well-known organisation in Telford. This role involves not only the maintenance and upgrading of existing systems but also the delivery of technical support and IT projects.
Day to Day of the role:
Deliver IT support services to the business and provide assistance to staff for escalated technical issues.
Maintain, upgrade, and design new computer systems and frameworks, ensuring system uptime, integrity, stability, and security.
Manage hardware, software, network appliances, switches, wireless access points, servers, data cabling, telephones, mobile phones, CCTV systems, etc.
Execute change requests and BAU functions via the project delivery business demands recorded in the IT Programme of Work (PoW).
Deliver projects for Business Intelligence, Database reporting, and data systems development and administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with a broad range of IT systems, capable of supporting 1st to 3rd line support responsibilities.
Extensive experience managing a network/data/voice/Windows environment serving 100+ people.
Proficiency in Active Directory maintenance and administration.
Network systems monitoring and administration skills.
Experience with Windows file and print services, NAS/SAN, and virtualisation technologies (VMWare and Veeam).
A focus on disaster recovery.
ITIL certification, at least at Foundation Level.
