Accounts Assistant – Hull – £23,000-£27,000

This is an exciting newly created role within a growing business and a great chance for you to make a difference, whilst growing with them. Supporting the Financial Controller, you will be taking responsibility for the transactional finance process.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

Purchase ledger - matching, batching, coding and inputting invoices
Sales ledger - including raising invoices and allocating to accounts
Supplier statement reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Payroll reporting
Timesheet reconciliations
Processing staff expenses
Ad-hoc administrative duties
Required Skills & Experience:

Understanding of the transactional finance processes
Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial personnel
A clear desire to work and develop within a finance function
IT literate including excel
