About Us: We are a welcoming and inclusive nursery located in Paignton, dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for our young learners. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and flexible Nursery Assistants to join our team on a part-time or supply basis.

Job Description: As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the nursery team in delivering engaging and effective care and education to our young children. Your main duties will include:

Assisting in the preparation and delivery of nursery activities.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to children.
Supporting children with their personal, social, and emotional development.
Helping to manage behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
Assisting with the planning and organization of nursery activities and events.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the nursery team in managing daily activities and administrative tasks.
Work with individual children or small groups to support their learning and development.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children with additional needs.
Help prepare and organize learning materials and resources.
Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to the nursery staff.
Foster a safe and encouraging learning environment for all children.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant or in a similar childcare role is preferred.
A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Early Years Education) are preferred but not essential.
DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
