As our Specifications Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of securing specifications and driving sales of our premium wallcoverings across London. Your key mission? To boost revenue, grow market share, and ensure profitability targets are met by nurturing relationships with existing clients and opening doors to new business opportunities.
Are you the right person for the job?
* A minimum of 5 years within the interior specification industry is essential
* You should be passionate about delivering top-tier customer service, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly from start to finish
* Results-driven and able to work autonomously, with the initiative to adapt to varying client personalities and overcome challenges
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to listen and deliver impactful solutions
* Confidence, adaptability, and the ability to handle rejection will serve you well in this role
What will your role look like?
* Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, identifying new opportunities to grow specifications and sales
* Use strategic planning and networking to open new accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
* Present our product offerings persuasively, solve on-site challenges, and make sound commercial decisions
* Drive business growth through cold calling, networking, and visiting potential clients
* Keep our customer and sales project databases updated to maintain accurate and actionable information
* Spend four days a week visiting customers, building rapport, and seizing business opportunities across the London territory
