Assistant Manager - Restaurant - Day time hours - Central Birmingham. Location is open 7 days per week
Are you a hands on natural leader with a proven track record in catering , hospitality or restaurant management? We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team, supporting the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth and efficient business functions.
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring staff performance, high customer satisfaction, and operational success. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their management skills while working closely with senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and motivating team members to excel.
Assist in quality control, ensuring products and services meet high standards.
Take responsibility for delegating tasks effectively and ensuring team efficiency.
Help organize and oversee private dining and special events to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in hospitality or retail management or a similar supervisory role.
Ability to lead and inspire a team while working closely with senior management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Good decision-making capabilities and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Familiarity with operational procedures in hospitality or retail is a strong plus.
You will need to live in a commutable distance from Central Birmingham as you will be a key holder
