gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in Lincoln for an experienced Dual Registered Manager.
Main responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Staff Development: Supervise and manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
Assessment and Planning: Respond to referrals, conduct initial assessments, and create support plans with clear goals and outcomes for service users.
Person-Centered Reviews: Coordinate and lead reviews to ensure service user needs and preferences are met.
Collaboration: Work closely with local multi-disciplinary teams and community-based agencies to deliver comprehensive care.
Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of environmental, safety, and quality within the home.
Welcoming Atmosphere: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for service users and staff.
Engagement: Facilitate service user engagement, involvement, and peer support.
Compliance: Stay updated with legislation and ensure staff are properly trained and experienced in their roles.
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Practitioner: Proven background in learning disabilities, with Positive Behaviour Support training and experience.
Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in a management role within care settings.
Caring Ethos: A professional and compassionate approach to care.
CQC Compliance: Willingness to register with the CQC and adhere to their regulations.
Experience: At least three years of working with individuals with learning disabilities.
Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant care qualification such as RMN/Dip SW, degree, or NVQ Level 4/5.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with service users, families, professionals, and colleagues.
Supervision Experience: Skilled in supervising and supporting staff.
Medication Management: Knowledge and skills to ensure safe medication management and administration.
