My client in East London are looking for a Clients Payroll Manager due to expansion.

About them

My client are a small, friendly Certified Accountancy Practice based in East London, looking for a motivated Clients Payroll Manager to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied and exciting role within a supportive environment, offering opportunity to work on varied client base.

Payroll and Workplace Pension Responsibilities includes:

• Processing end to end client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis

• Onboarding of new clients

• Managing various Statutory payments and other payroll changes

• Submitting weekly/2-weekly/monthly RTIs, EPS, FPS

• Adhering to latest guidelines issued by HMRC and Pension Regulator in relation to running payroll

• Being the first point of contact for technical and complex payroll queries

• Keeping clients aware of their auto enrolment duties well ahead of the deadlines

• Setting up pension schemes for employers as and when required

• Regularly assessing employees for pension eligibility and enrolling them to pension scheme

Construction Industry Scheme Returns Responsibilities includes:

• Processing information received from clients to prepare monthly CIS returns of subcontractors

• Verifying details of subcontractors with HMRC.

• Submitting CIS returns of clients before the deadline each month

• Inputting information received from clients in Book-keeping and Payroll software

• Claiming end of year CIS refunds for clients from HMRC and dealing with any restrictions or underpayments.

Experience and Skills required:

• Extensive end to end payroll experience

• Experience of dealing with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and sound knowledge and experience of completing CIS returns

• Previous experience of using Moneysoft Payroll Manager software is mandatory.

• Previous book-keeping experience of using VT Transaction is desirable.

• Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases

• Ability to work to tight deadlines

• Self -motivated and able to work under minimal supervision

Job Offer:

• Immediate Start

• Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per year

• 28 days holidays

• Full time Permanent contract

• Office based 5 days a week

• Office based (9 am – 6 pm) with 1 hour lunch break

• Company’s pension

Additional pay:

• Performance bonus

• Yearly bonus

Location: East London

Salary: £35k-£40k per year
