CNC Miller
An opportunity has opened up for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company in Camberley. The ideal candidate will have experience with Haas machines and possess the ability to set and operate CNC mills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment for a well known precision engineering company.
Responsibilities of CNC Miller
Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including Haas machines, to perform various machining operations
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the best approach for the job
Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change cutting tools as needed
Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine maintenance on the equipment
Skills needed for CNC Miller
Proven experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines, preferably Haas machines
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong understanding of machining principles and practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
As a CNC Miller, you will spend your days setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
