Disabled Children's Therapy Service

3 month initial contract with the view of extension

£30-£35 per hour

x 1 Full time post, x 1 Part time post

Truro, Cornwall

Our Local Authority Client are seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their service for a temporary contract initially.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and the specific needs of the child.
Provide hands-on therapy to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Educate and train parents, caregivers, and family members on techniques to support the child's development at home.
Assess and evaluate the occupational therapy needs of children with disabilities, aged 0-18 years.Requirements:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Experience of working with children
