We are looking for a Science Technician to support our dynamic science department at a secondary school in Bury. This role offers flexibility with part-time positions preferred and available. If you have a passion for science and enjoy working in an educational environment, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

Position: Science Technician
Location: Secondary School, Bury
Employment Type: Negotiated part-time (flexible)
Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (negotiable)
Pay: Up to £115 per day for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

Organising and preparing resources for science experiments.
Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and safely stored.
Assisting science staff in setting up practical lessons.
Keeping the science department organised, tidy, and fully stocked.
Adhering to health and safety protocols, including COSHH regulations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
COSHH qualification is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting the science curriculum.
