Salter Grange is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to join a Specialist Engineering Contractor on a £60m+ MEP Million Commercial project in London.
Operating across the London market on noteworthy Residential and Commercial projects, with a turnover hitting £800m, they are highly regarded and known for their robust Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities, and smooth Project Delivery.
The successful Electrical Project Manager will ideally come from a recognised engineering contractor with experience from cradle to grave and must be comfortable managing large electrical packages on high profile complex projects.
Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:
Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-offs and out-to-tender schedules.
Prepare technical and contract documentation for issues and analyse returned tenders.
Preparing method statements and risk assessments for production activities
Carrying out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
Liaising and coordinating with clients, design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
Coordinates with other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions along with Identifying materials and equipment that may be required
Analyses and quickly resolves any work problems that may arise and ensures that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected promptly
Ensuring handover documentation is presented in a specific format and timelines
Communicating project progress to key stakeholders, such as the client, architects, engineers
Electrical Project Manager Requirements:
5+ years experience in a similar role.
Ability to manage subcontractors
Technical Understanding of Electrical systems
Proactive people management
