Our client is a local property maintenance company that performs reactive maintenance to social housing properties and other local government properties within their domestic and commercial portfolios. They are looking to recruit a painter and decorator who can assist with their day to day works orders of reactive maintenance and PPM.

Duties will include a wide variety of painting and decorating repairs in occupied homes, buildings, and empty properties. The work will include all types of preparation, emulsion, gloss painting, wallpaper hanging, artex repairs, non-licensed asbestos removal (full training will be provided), must have good customer service skills, be hardworking and reliable.

Requirements

Previous painting and decorating experience (essential)
Clean Driving License (essential)
Hard working
A trade specific qualification such as a NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting is preferred
Reliable
Successful recruitment is subject to a mandatory Clean DBS and Drug Test
