We’re recruiting for a Finance Project Coordinator to join a friendly, supportive team in a successful growing business.

The main purpose of the role is to oversee a portfolio of contracts and annexes by coordinating and preparing timely and accurate financial claims and reporting for external and internal stakeholders, acting as a main point of contact.

You will provide support and advice to the directorate and the wider business, working closely with the Head of Claims and Finance Support and IUK Business Growth Head of Contracts and Grant Management on making and implementing recommendations to improve processes and working practices, to maximise financial performance within contract regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Preparing and submitting regular financial management reports (KPIs, and narrative) for the department’s key contracts

*

Monitoring and tracking of contract budgets and finances

*

Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial claims

*

Providing oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with audit requirements

What the employer is looking for;

*

Educated to degree level or equivalent in business management, or a related field.

*

Sound knowledge of project financial management including budgets and forecasting

*

Experience of online reporting platforms including systems related to funding

*

Experience of interpreting and presenting data in the form of reports and briefing papers for internal and external customers

*

Experience in the use of CRM platforms and extracting data therefrom

*

Experience of working across a number of projects responding to multiple demands at a time

*

Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise workloads to ensure deadline are met

*

Sufficient numeracy and literacy abilities to interpret, manipulate and present quantitative, qualitative and financial data

*

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

*

Proactive and flexible to respond changing priorities

*

Advanced user of MS Office suite

*

Good interpersonal skills
