Senior Network Engineer - Low Latency - BGP CCIE - Kolo - Investment Bank

12 months, paying up to £700/day Inside IR35.* 50% hybrid working

Leading financial services client is looking for a Senior Low Latency Network Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. You will support an upcoming Data centre project, moving all services/infrastructure. You will support with project work for all electronic trading systems, across UK, APAC & US, as well as Kolo - exchanges.

Skills and experience required:

• Cisco, CCIE Routing & Switching
• Low Latency, Kolo
• Extensive multicast protocols, PIM, IGMP, MBGP
• Cisco hardware; Nexus 3K, Nexus 9K, 6500E, 4900, 4500, 6800 series Switches
• ASR series and ISR series Routers
• Cisco software IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
• Ansible & Python Scripting
• Arista 7000 series TAP aggregation
• PTP clock time stamping
• Ethernet 1G/10G/40G/100G
• Protocols/Technologies: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, NAT, QOS, VPN, vPC, VXLAN,
• Traffic analysis tools: Netflow, Solareflare/cStor probes and Wireshark
• Cisco Wireless LAN technologies
• Identity Services Engine
• Adva FSP3000 and XG carrier Ethernet solutions
• Zabbix & Grafana management platforms
• Juniper JUNOS
• Juniper EX series
• ITIL and Change Management experience
