Fabricator Welder – Walsall Area
📍 Location: Walsall
💷 Pay Rate: £15 - £16 per hour

BCS Connect is seeking a talented Fabricator Welder to join a leading company specialising in structural steelwork. This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale projects with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
🛠️ Job Responsibilities:
MIG Welding: Perform high-quality MIG welding on various structural steel components.
Fabrication: Assemble, cut, and shape metal parts to create custom structures and frameworks as per project specifications.
Structural Steel Work: Involved in the fabrication and assembly of beams, columns, frames, and other structural elements.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise fabrication and welding.
Quality Control: Ensure all welds and fabrications meet the required safety and structural standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to meet project deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
📅 Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM each day.
✅ Requirements:
MIG Welding Experience: Must be proficient in MIG welding, with the ability to weld various thicknesses of structural steel.
Fabrication Skills: Strong experience in fabricating and working with steel components.
Engineering Background: Solid understanding of engineering principles related to structural steelwork.
Weld Test: All candidates must pass an on-site weld test as part of the interview process.
