Looking for a new and exciting challenge in the field of education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join a lovely SEN school in Chatham.

Responsibilities:

* Support pupils who may be struggling with a range of social, emotional, and mental health difficulties

* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

* Manage challenging behavior and provide one-to-one support where necessary

* Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential

Qualifications:

* Experience of working with children or young people with SEMH needs

* A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning

* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
