Position: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Pain Management)

Location: Sun City, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time (4 Days/week)

Compensation: $100,000 - $225,000 / year

Bonus: RVU

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Pain Management) will work as a valued member of our healthcare team, focusing on the assessment, treatment, and management of pain in our patients. This role includes a strong emphasis on managing patient care, performing physical exams, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and manage patients with various types of acute and chronic pain, utilizing a wide range of diagnostic techniques to assess conditions and form a precise and comprehensive treatment plan.

   

2. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including referring physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists to establish and execute integrated, patient-focused care.

  

3. Perform routine and special procedures like nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and medication management under physician supervision.

4. Regularly follow up with patients on their progress and make necessary adjustments in care plans based on their recovery, side effects, or late complications.

5. Provide patient and family education regarding medications, procedures, and techniques to manage pain.

6. Maintain excellent patient records and case histories, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation.

7. Stay updated with the latest developments in pain management procedures, techniques, and standards, ensuring the best possible care for patients.

8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute in evidence-based discussion related to patients' care.  

9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

Completion of US Based NP/PA Program (Not Puerto Rico)

AZ State NP/PA License (Or able to obtain)

Pain Management Experience (Nice to have, not required)
