Principal/Lead Hardware Design Engineer | Up to £80k | Hybrid | SC Eligibility Required | Bath
Are you a highly experienced Hardware/Design Engineer? Are you interested in developing high performance digital hardware within Aerospace and Defense? Do you have technical leadership experience across complex Digital Hardware projects?
Then this might be the role for you!
Responsibilities:
Work in expert level multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver complex electronic hardware for complex electronic systems for challenging customer requirements.
You will have to manage complex hardware design, product development and ongoing technical problem solving.
You may be required to travel periodically for technical reviews of products.Necessary experience:
You must be eligible for security clearance.
Mixed signal ADC/DAC, FPGA & SoC based design for high performance signal processing, communications and control.
AC/DC Power Conversion experience.
Ability to define and analyse requirements whilst developing necessary architecture.
Experience across Design, Verification, Testing & Debugging.
Experience with PCB Design & VPX Design.
Interfacing experience with Ethernet, PCIe & JESD.Nice to have:
Experience within the defence industryWhat’s in it for you?
