Lead FPGA/Firmware Engineer | Up to £80k | SC Eligibility Required | Hybrid | Bath
Are you a highly experienced FPGA or Firmware Engineer? Are you looking for a role to develop and deliver complex Firmware within the Aerospace and Defence sector? Do you have team leadership experience delivering complex embedded solutions?
Then this might be the role for you!
Responsibilities:
Work in expert level multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver complex digital systems firmware for challenging customer requirements.
You will support and lead a team of several Engineers both through technical reviews and project deadlines and expectations.
You may be required to travel periodically for technical reviews of products.Necessary Experience:
You must be eligible for security clearance.
Design tool experience with Xilinx, Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, TCL etc.
FPGA architecture experience with Xilinx (7, UltraScale), Intel (Altera), Actel etc.
Interface experience with Ethernet, PCIe and JESD.
Team leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
Deep understanding of System requirements so that FPGA, Firmware and Architecture requirements can be derived.
Experience with Auto-generated code with MATLAB and Simulink tools.
Auto-generated code using model driven engineering using MATLAB and Simulink tools
Experience AI, ML, Cryptography and anti-tamper techniques.Nice to haves:
Aerospace and Defense experience.What’s in it for you?
