SEND Teaching assistant within Derby needed.
TeacherActive is working with a SEND (Special and educational needs) school in Derby to find a SEND Teaching assistant who has a true passion for working within an SEND setting.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working with SEND - Ideally high end ASD (Autistic spectrum disorder), MLD (Moderate learning difficulties) and SLD (Sever learning difficulties).
The successful Teaching assistant will need to:
Have sensitivity and understanding.
Have active listening skills.
Be patient.
Have the ability to remain calm in all situations.
Enjoy working with other people.
In return for the above you can expect to receive:
