The successful Bill of Materials (BOM) Lifecycle Management (PLM) Controller/ Manager/ Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the accuracy of BOMs within TeamCentre PLM, ensuring smooth coordination between engineering, production, and documentation teams for cutting-edge projects. Key Responsibilities of Bill of Materials/ Product Lifecycle Management Controller/ Manager/ Administrator
Develop and maintain BOMs within the TeamCentre PLM system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
Coordinate as-built BOMs, overseeing their release and alignment with production processes.
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely release of BOMs, technical documents, and manuals.
Support product lifecycle management by maintaining data integrity across all stages of production and modification.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to facilitate seamless communication and process efficiency.
Essential Requirements of Bill of Materials/ Product Lifecycle Management Controller/ Manager/ Administrator
Proven experience as a BOM / PLM Controller or Administrator, with a strong background in managing BOMs for complex projects.
Proficient in TeamCentre PLM – working knowledge is essential.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage large datasets and ensure accuracy.
Ability to coordinate between multiple teams and manage the flow of technical documents, manuals, and releases.Desirable Attributes:
Experience within the maritime or shipbuilding industry is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with precision
