We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Manager to join our team in Hampshire.
Job Summary
As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the efficient management of the engineering department within high-speed multi-line 24 hour operation. Within the role, you will be require to work within clearly defined processes and procedures and product specifications while ensuring full compliance is met.
Key Duties
* Ensure that operations on all equipment are performed to a professional, high-quality standard.
* Liaise closely with Production Management to prioritise production planning and equipment availability.
* Identify development opportunities for Engineering staff in the achievement of required target outputs and quality standards.
* Design, coordinate and deliver effective maintenance schedules with the Facilities and Maintenance teams, utilising the site’s software to measure performance.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven track record of leadership skills across large teams, ideally more than 50 people
* Have the ability to manage in a fast-changing, flexible environment and have the capacity to embrace change.
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with a knack for motivating and developing teams.
