Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proactive Business & Projects Operations Manager with solid experience in the construction industry. The role involves managing both office-based and on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a key role in coordinating logistics, overseeing site management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage on-site teams and overall project delivery.
* Coordinate logistics for materials, deliveries, and stock levels.
* Maintain health and safety standards and record compliance.
* Oversee yard operations to ensure efficiency and organization.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
* Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Contribute to strategic business decisions and quality control.
Additional Duties:
*
Cultivating strong, mutually beneficial relationships with valued suppliers and sub-contractors
*
Spearheading quality control efforts to ensure that all received materials meet company standards.
*
Providing support to our installation teams, ensuring they have the materials and information they need to deliver exceptional results
*
Assisting with inventory management to keep stock levels optimised and minimise wastage.
Must Haves:
*
Previous experience in the construction industry is an absolute must.
*
Demonstrate the ability for multitasking and a talent for problem-solving.
*
Top-level communication skills, essential for fostering strong relationships with the team, suppliers and customers.
*
A dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in all aspects of the role
Working hours: 40h week (not including travel), Monday-Friday, incl; half-day Fridays. Some weekend overtime offered
