Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading civil engineering contractor who are seeking a Site Agent for a new project that has just started in Yorkshire. Our client is specialising in complex civil engineering projects with a focus on groundworks and civil engineering. The Site Agent will be working directly under the Site Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the site stays on target and in budget.
The Site Agent must have experience of working on civil engineering projects and these ideally need to be groundworks or bridge based. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Agent to be a part of a new and very exciting project.
Site Agent Position Overview
Maintain daily records of site activities, raise observations, and report or investigate incidents as needed.
Prepare, review, and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all on-site activities, ensuring they are implemented and revised when necessary.
Regularly update and review the project programme for all on-site works.
Conduct site inductions, RAMS briefings, and toolbox talks, ensuring all personnel are competent for their assigned tasks.Site Agent Position Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of NEC4 Contracts, including managing Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
Proven track record in managing civil works contracts, with strong knowledge of industry standards and methodologies.
Experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing site operations.
Must be a qualified First Aider and hold a valid UK driving licence.
Required Qualifications:
CITB Temporary Works Coordinator
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
