We have an immediate opportunity for a proactive, professional Facilities Manager to join an iconic organisation based in Birmingham City Centre in a brand new position.

Working as part of a dedicated Facilities team, as Facilities Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with tenants in this multi-use site, ensuring the building is safe and maintained to high standards. With an engaging, positive and professional demeanour at all times, you will be a visible and hands-on team member, leading regular operational meetings with tenants and communicating all facilities updates and protocols to them.

As the Facilities Manager, you will act as a lynchpin between the company’s tenants and the wider facilities team, acting as the main point of contact for any issues or concerns. With a proactive approach, you will address concerns as soon as they appear, ensuring the tenant feels supported throughout. Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure that H&S policies and procedures are effective and compliant with current legislation and best practice, you will make sure the safety of the tenants as well as all visitors and members of the public.

As an experienced Facilities professional, you will be of graduate calibre, and ideally have a relevant Health and Safety qualification, with a strong knowledge of H&S best practise. Crucially, you will be a strong communicator and be able to build working relationships with ease, taking a proactive approach to managing internal and external stakeholders. This is an on-site Facilities Manager role, so a hands-on approach will be crucial, coupled with a solid knowledge of maintaining the fabric of buildings and Mechanical and Engineering services.
