Pure are working in partnership with a growing tech for good start up based out of Cambridge. The business have seen good growth which means they are looking for a Web Developer to join their high performing close knit development team.
As a Senior Web Developer within the business you will be working on their core platform. Adding features, constantly improving the UX and working on the optimisation of the product.
To be successful in your application for this role experience within a start-up would be beneficial but not essential. Flexibility will be key, having the adaptability to deal with changing requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product development team to implement new features and enhancements.
Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement Progressive Web Applications (PWA) principles to enhance offline capabilities, performance, and user experience.
Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience across the platform.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
Experience:
Proven experience developing web applications.
Experience developing Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
Good knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Technical skills:
We're seeking individuals with advanced knowledge and skills in the following:
Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Django templates, Bootstrap 5
Google Chrome OS
Git, Bitbucket, Jira, WebStorm or Visual Studio
This role is based on the outskirts of Cambridge (easy access from the A14) and is available on a hybrid basis.
