Superb opportunity to join a leading specialist in advanced coating solutions.

The business was founded in 1971 and they have since grown internationally with headquarters in the USA.

You’ll join a collaborative SME environment and work with clients across aerospace/defence to medical, transportation and electronics.

There are currently 50 employees in the Woking office.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join the business on a FT permanent basis.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer who is customer centric, with strong communications skills and the ability to build and sustain relationships with business stakeholders.

The core objectives will be to:

* Support the development of new and existing processes.

* Investigate and resolve any process anomalies, providing direct interface with key account customers, and providing input on ways to enhance/improve existing processes in conjunction with manufacturing and quality initiatives.

* Evaluate and provide working solutions to new and existing customer coating applications as well as generate costing and process documentation.

You will act and become the SME on a new greenlit precision coater that will be used to apply latex to their customer products.

The role will be based on-site, Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements:

* Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

* A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience.

* Background within medical, aerospace/defence, electronics or transportation.

* Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or AS 9100.

* Experience with Agile principles such as LEAN, Six Sigma, Blackbelt (nice to have).

* Experience in machine programming and Labcam is another huge plus.

* Familiarity with PCBs (printed circuit boards) would be very beneficial.

* Any experience with coatings or parylene is also desirable.
