Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Civils)

Location: Yorkshire Region
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + car allowance or company car + package
Start Date: February/March 2025

iRecruit UK are recruiting for this exciting opportunity on behalf of our client, an established civil engineering main contractor, who is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects across the Yorkshire region. This role offers a competitive salary, car allowance or company car, and a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will lead projects up to £10m, contributing to major infrastructure works within highways and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage civil engineering projects, primarily within highways and structures

* Ensure timely, on-budget delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success

* Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers

* Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management

* Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager working with a main contractor on civil engineering projects

* Strong background in highways, structures, and general civil works

* Experience managing projects up to £10m

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to deliver projects within time and budget constraints

* Full UK driving licence
