Estimating Engineer
Location: Cramlington
Salary: up to £32,000 per annum
Permanent staff position
We are looking to recruit an experienced Estimating Engineer to join a long-established business looking to expand its team.
What you will be doing:
* You will be the link between customer and production from enquiry stage to completion of order.
* Responsible for all RFQ’s from enquiry to quotation
* Perform contract reviews on receipt of PO
* Attend meetings and update progress with internal departments
* Prepare and present cost analyses and progress reports.
* Maintain accurate records.
What you will bring to the team:
* Experienced in Engineering & Manufacturing planning and processes
* Knowledge of multi axis milling and turning
* Proficiency in process simulation and CAD software.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
