Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: London, UK

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum

My client are responsible for the operations and maintenance of one of the busiest highways contracts in London. Due to company expansion and an increase in workload, they are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team within the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in the management and coordination of highways works.
·Support the Project Manager in preparing project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and budgets.
·Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost control, and quality standards.
·Liaise with contractors, engineers, and local authorities to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
·Assist with the procurement of materials and services, managing contracts and suppliers.
·Contribute to health and safety compliance, ensuring all work is carried out to the relevant regulations and standards.
·Attend site inspections and support the preparation of reports on project status, issues, and solutions.
·Provide administrative support, ensuring all project documentation is up to date and accurately maintained.

Key Requirements:
·Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
·Proven experience in infrastructure or construction projects, with a focus on structural works (experience in highways preferred).
·Experience within project management.
·Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
·Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
·A proactive and problem-solving approach to project management.

Package:
