Occupational Health Physician - Salary based on experience

Job description

We have a superb opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician (OHP) to work for an industry leading Healthcare company, PAM Group, based on client site in Aberdeen. PAM Group provide high Occupational Health services to a number of well-known companies, brands & local authorities across the UK.

About the role:

* Desired skills for this role include demonstrable experience of working within the Oil and Energy industry.

* Responsibility for case management and the production of management reports.

* Provision of advice on ill health retirement.

* Assessment of health surveillance cases.

* Responsibility for case conferences, absence reviews and case reviews.

* You will receive 100% support from your line manager, the regional management team and PAM Academy.

Type of work:

Management referrals. Health Surveillance. Ill health retirement. Fitness for work assessments. OEUK medical Examinations. Post medevac return to work assessments

Requirements:

* Hold a valid GMC Registration

* Minimum Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Dip Occ Med), Higher Occupational Medicine qualification like the AFOM, MFOM and FFOM welcomed.

* A Medical Practitioner who has, since full registration, consolidated their skills and continued their medical education in line with the requirements of continuing medical education / continuing professional development and engagement in the medical appraisal/revalidation process

* Preferably (not essential) be HSE appointed (e.g. Ionising Radiation, Asbestos, Lead)

* Preferably (not essential) have certification to undertake Tier 4 HAVS assessment.

* Have experience of working in Occupational Health Medicine

* Effective communicator with strong listening and empathetic skills as well as the ability to influence and engage with others.

* Have the ability to work well autonomously and in a team.

* Have experience dealing with complex health issues.

* Have a full Driving License.

* Be IT literate.

* Have effective written and oral communication skills demonstrated to a high standard.

In addition to the above, we offer:
