Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Rotherham.

Our client is a general haulage or chilled goods distributor in the UK delivering palletised goods.

We are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers on days or nights who can complete trunk runs which consist of palletised goods to customers across the UK. Curtainsider pallets with no manual work. Weekend work is also available should you want to pick up any extra shifts.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have a valid CPC, Digi Card and Driving Licence.

* Must provide all own PPE (Safety boots, Hi Vis Vest, work wear)

* Must have 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles

JOB ROLE:

* Drive a HGV Class 1 Vehicle throughout the shift

* All deliveries are curtainsider pallet work, with no loose goods that need offloading manually.

* Carry out POD’s and delivery note procedures.

WORKING DAYS AND HOURS:

Monday-Friday (average start times)

-Start times (days): 04:00-06:00

-Start times (nights): 16:00 – 23:00

-On average a 10-12 hours shift

PAYE PAY RATES:

Class 1 Nights PAYE:

Basic Days Monday – Friday: £14.40 or £16.13 with holiday advanced

Basic Nights Monday – Friday : £16 or £17.93 with holiday advanced

Saturday - £17.93 or £20.09 with holiday advanced

Sunday - £20 or £22.41 with holiday advanced
