Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets, E1 | Pay: £94 - £105 per day | Contract: Temp to Perm | Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Are you passionate about education and eager to support the development of young learners? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment and contribute to students' growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Individual and Group Support: Provide targeted help to students, whether one-to-one or in small groups, focusing on those needing extra assistance.
Behaviour Management: Promote positive behaviour and address challenges in the classroom.
Resource Preparation: Help prepare and organise learning materials to create an engaging classroom environment.
Supervision: Ensure student safety during lessons, breaks, and activities.
SEN Support: Assist students with special educational needs (SEN), adjusting methods to meet their needs.
Communication: Liaise with parents, teachers, and staff to provide the best support for students.Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (Teaching Assistant qualifications are a plus).
Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Patience, empathy, and passion for helping children succeed.
