Our client is a leading company in providing separation technologies to the recycling industry with the particularity of offering a wide range of different technologies and processes. An International company, the Group is looking to support its UK subsidiary with a Business Development manager to boost its sales in the UK and Ireland.
About the role:
The main objective of the role is to identify and convert opportunities to sell the capital equipment produced by our client, building long term relationships within the sector. Separation technologies supplied by our client are high-cost capital equipment items and as such we are looking for Business Development Manager that is comfortable working on projects with a circa 2 years gestation periods.
Is this role for you?
* Do you have a passion for Business Development?
* Do you enjoy selling high value technical solutions?
* Do you enjoy creating and building relationships with Customers?
* Do you have experience of the Industrial Process and Operations at a metal recycling plant (Shredder and Shredder Residue) or downstream metal beneficiation processes.
* Do you have knowledge or experience in metal / recycling processes using magnetic, eddy current, x-ray, optical and other cutting edge sensor sorting / separation technologies?
Ideal Qualifications
* Relevant technical qualifications in a manufacturing or engineering discipline would be desirable, however relevant “on the job” gained experience will be key.
* Full clean UK driving license.
* Passport
