Our client, a prestigious provider of training and apprenticeships in the electrical engineering sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Trainer Assessor to join their established team in Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality training sessions in electrical engineering to small groups of learners (12-14 students)
Conducting on-site training four days a week, with one day allocated to administrative tasks either from home or office
Assessing and providing feedback on learner progress and competence
Guiding apprentices through their qualifications, ensuring all educational standards are met
Collaborating with the existing electrical team to develop and improve course materials
Engaging with learners to support their educational and professional development
Participating in internal meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of training programmes
Preparing and delivering presentations as part of a robust interview process
Job Requirements:
Experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on practical, hands-on knowledge
Relevant qualifications, including C&G 5357 level 3 Electrical
A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers
Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions
Proficiency in carrying out assessments and providing constructive feedback
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Comfortable with on-site working
Ability to work well within a team, contributing to a supportive learning environment
