Product Support Engineer
Salary £35k - £39k
Location: Surrey
nGeniums partner a specialist manufacturer of Analytical instruments are in an exciting period of growth and are looking to expand their engineering team in the south of the UK. This a varied engineering position suited to someone with experience with chromatography, Mass spec or Spectroscopy equipment, looking to build upon their science background and become a well trained field engineer with excellent customer service skills.
In this role, you will:
Install, service, maintain, repair and upgrade complicated analytical instruments in high-tech labs across the world.
Support customers and identify opportunities to build relationships and increase sales.
Produce key documentation and write up quotations.
A suitable candidate for this product support position would have:
Science background as a lab technician or analytical chemist working with Analytical instrumentation.
Hands on experience troubleshooting and using chromatography/Mass spec and spectroscopy equipment.
Field Service Experience (Desirable)
Good customer service and problem skills.
Strong educational background within science and engineering.
Full UK driving licence and right to work.
Ability to travel.
