C++ Development: Design and implement ‘engine’ based applications using C++.
COM Development: Create and maintain ActiveX and DLL components using Visual Basic and C++ for RS232 communications.
Utility Applications: Develop and support utility applications that enhance the company's product offerings.
Fault Investigation: Investigate and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Documentation: Document software features, workflows, and support knowledgebase to facilitate smooth operations and support.
Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers and distributors, addressing their queries and ensuring satisfaction.
Process Adherence: Work within the company's change control and ISO9001 processes, ensuring all documentation is updated as required.
Requirements of the Junior Software Engineer:
Degree Educated in Software Development, Computer Science and other related degrees.
Proficiency in C++ and Visual Basic.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle technical queries effectively.
