Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice dedicated to providing exceptional services to a diverse portfolio of clients. They offer a supportive environment that fosters professional development, and are currently seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with regulatory standards.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns.
* Handle bookkeeping and assist clients with day-to-day accounting needs.
* Support senior accountants in more complex tasks, including audits and financial analysis.
* Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, resolve queries, and ensure timely submission of accounts.
* Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards.
* Provide advice and support to clients on a variety of financial matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT with a strong commitment to further professional development.
* Experience in an accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
