Senior Technical Architect

Luton & Macclesfield.

£650 - outside IR35 - 6 months initial contract

Senior Technical Architect with solid experience in system design and deployments covering integration with a varied landscape of non-SAP up/downstream systems.

The role will work with technical design teams, SI partner teams and other architects in completion of the key aspects of the role.

The role covers all Technical architecture needs in supporting and advising the Enterprise IT Business Partner (EBP) for a given process domain.

Experience should cover the relevant core Business domains with an emphasis on Technical architecture as it pertains to supporting non-SAP systems, both directly integrated with S/4 and also systems further up/downstream without direct integration.

Essential Skills

Strong Senior Solution Architects with experience in Integrating S/4, non-SAP applications

Experience in one of the following business process areas below.

Large scale transformation experience + global programme

Experience in Pharma / LS – advantageous

Good stakeholder management

Business Areas

Procurement and Materials Management –with one or more of Coupa, Concur, payment processing

Production to Dispatch Door – one or more of MES (ideally PAS-X), EWM, quality systems, plant maintenance, calibration etc.

Order & Distribution to Cash – one or more of Esker, High Radius

Record to Report – one or more of Blackline, treasury management

Data and Analytics – includes SAP SAC, Datasphere, MDG, operational data stores

Deliverables

Assist in creation of Architectural deliverables e.g. Interim and To-be Process and Technical Architecture, Solution Blueprints and other documents as required

WRICEF evaluation

Help EBP teams in reviewing the WRICEF requests and upholding the Fit-to-Standard principles of the programme, understanding the architectural significance and impact on the existing system estate

Design Management / Key Design Decisions

Provide additional bandwidth to EBPs to increase coverage of the detail design and localisation workshops and assess Technology impact of the ongoing Design

Work with existing non-SAP, Data and technology teams in support of template and interim state architectures and solutions

Non-SAP landscape planning for target state to support testing approach/plans

Architectural Governance

Orchestrate across Process, Data, Applications and Integrations domains to ensure that all elements of Design and Build are in synch and aligned to Target Business architecture

Lead/support on the assessment and review of architectural decisions in line with programme and AZ governance processes
