VNA Driver

Trafford Park, Manchester

Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:00 or 10:00 – 18:00
£11.50 per hour

Ideal Recruit are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Trafford Park for a VNA Driver to work on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the biggest and most reputable 3rd party logistics companies in the UK. You will support the day to day running of the warehouse, liaising with other warehouse operatives and supervisors to maintain a smooth flow of work throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within the warehouse
Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the warehousing duties, functions, and requirements
Maintain a detailed understanding of legislation and regulation affecting warehouse
Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times, reporting any incidents to the appropriate manager
Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times
Working to KPI’s & SLAs as identified by the customer
Essential Criteria:

Previous experience in similar role operating a forklift or other MHE equipment
VNA Licence needed and experience of operating a VNA Truck
Counterbalance/ PPT/ Reach Certificate
Able to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources
Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Have good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Warehouse Operation
Excellent time management skills and ability to solve problems
Willing to train and undertake relevant courses
Team player who is capable of working on their own initiative
Flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
