We are working with a Midlands-based Police force who are looking to shape the future of policing across their 3 counties. As part of their continuous drive to build an inclusive workforce, they are looking to bring in a Level 3 Technical Specialist in their Command and Control Technical Team.

The main purpose of the Specialist Technical Support Level 3 (Critical Saab Support) role is to provide a high level of technical support across The Police Force, both to internal customers and to external customers ensuring the department is offering the best level of service in terms of ICT services, specialist applications and equipment.

As the successful candidate, you will ideally have:

Essential:

• Application support
• Windows Server
• VMware
• M365
• ITIL incident and change management

On top of these fundamental skills and experience, you would ideally have experience of supporting the following:

• Command and Control systems (ideally Saab SAFE)
• Network & Telephony
• Database support
• Radio (Airwave)
• Azure Virtual Desktop

If you also have a background in Cyber Security; ideally within a Policing or Emergency Service environment, this would be highly desirable.

This opportunity will require Police Vetting Clearance. You must be a UK resident and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years to successfully apply.
